So firstly I would just like to say that I am sorry for not posting in like over two weeks or something. But I think instead of explaining why I will just give you a little updatey blog post instead later in the week :)
Secondly and most importantly I would just like to talk about my friend Mel, you may have heard of her on my blog posts before ( she also has a blog.) and I wanted to talk about what she has done for the Just a drop charity because I'm a #proudmamma.
In December I did a blog post explaining that my friend Mel is raising money for the 'Just a drop' charity. click here if you want to see that as it explains more about the charity and stuff :)
AND since then she has managed to raise over £1000 pounds on the Just Giving website . Her original plan was to shave all of her hair off in the hopes to raise £500 pounds and she has more than doubled that!
Yesterday was the penultimate day and this is what she looks like now.
I think she looks pretty fabulous tbh. Rocking the bald look! I am really proud of how well she has done to raise so much money for this charity and being brave enough to cut all of her hair off. and she is now going to sell the hair to gain even more money for the charity.
ALSO! It is not too late to donate! So please donate if you can to the just giving website to help raise even more money to allow others to have a fresh supply of water. Which seems like a simple thing to some of us but for some people it is not that easy for them.
